Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to order our wedding cake?

I recommend booking your wedding cake 9 to 12 months before your wedding day. Most couples reach out once their venue is confirmed.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A £100 non-refundable booking fee secures your date and includes:

A cake sample box

A design consultation

Payment can be made via bank transfer. I only take on one wedding cake per week to ensure full attention to your order.

How Much Does a Wedding Cake Cost?

Each cake is custom-designed, so I don’t offer fixed prices. Final pricing depends on:

Design complexity

Decoration choices

Delivery

Stand hire

I will send you a quote after your consultation.

What Cake Styles Do You Offer?

I specialise in creating beautiful buttercream floral designs, with every petal, leaf, and detail piped by hand. Whether you prefer realistic flowers or something more playful and whimsical, your cake can be made to match your style.

Can we try the cake before booking?

Definitely. Wicked Treats offers cake sample boxes three times a year. Each box includes 6 cake flavours from the menu and cost £35. Samples are posted directly to your home. You can purchase samples before committing to a booking, or they are included with every booking.

What size wedding cake will we need?

I recommend that you cater for a minimum of 80% of your wedding guests. I advise venues to cut the cakes into 1" x 1" finger portions, as the height of each cake is 5"-6" tall. You can cater for more than this or you can have faux tiers if you would like a statement cake and fewer portions. Portion numbers and cake sizes can be determined once you have your confirmed guest numbers. I will advise when you enquire, what size cake you may need.
