MY NAME IS JANA

Mum of two amazing children, my career path to cake maker was an unexpected one (even to myself!).

I left university with a Masters Degree in Culture and Tourism Management which led me to the UK to improve my English. From there, bizarrely, I worked shortly as an orthodontist assistant but I realised pretty fast that it wasn't for me so I went to work for a shipping line working in their finance department, qualifying as an accounting technician.

The cake making really started out because of my kids. I've always loved being creative and making their birthday cakes was a good excuse to try different things.

When I discovered buttercream flowers, my passion (or as my husband calls it, obsession) for everything floral was born. I love everything about it - baking the light and fluffy cupcakes, learning to pipe new flowers, creating new designs and most of all putting it all together and seeing the delight and joy my cakes bring to others.

I now get to always be around my kids whilst working from home doing something that I am passionate about. What more could I ask for?
